Navjeevan Society for Research and Rehabilitation of the Intellectually Disabled, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), Maharashtra, India set the record for the Largest Musical Play Performance by Intellectually Disabled People. A proud milestone for the entire Navjeevan family.

Navjeevan Society celebrated 40 years of love, care & selfless service. Reiki Grandmaster Nirmala Tapadia and her team visited Navjeevan Society, interacting with students, performing Reiki, and conducting meditation.

Navjeevan Society Independence Day celebrations — our children lit up the stage with their energetic drills. Chief guests included Mr. Bharuka and his daughter Gouravi Bharuka, and Lions Club NX President Mr. Vipul Sharma. Lions Club NX donated uniforms and a CCTV.

Students of Wockhardt Global School, Shedra visited Navjeevan School for the Raksha Bandhan program. Wockhardt students presented guitar playing, Zumba, and various games. Navjeevan students performed a yoga dance.

We were honored to welcome Dr. Ashish Gadekar, Registrar of MGM University, and Dr. Sarika Gadekar, Head of the Ophthalmology Department at MGM Medical College. They personally distributed remuneration to the hardworking individuals in our VTC and Sheltered Workshop programs.

Ms. Soham Kotak (C.A.) generously donated a large quantity of school supplies to Navjeevan School. A heartfelt thank you for this kind act of support for our students.

Mr. Abhijeet Bhayya Deshmukh, City District President of the Nationalist Congress Party and Director of the Agricultural Produce Market Committee, celebrated his birthday at Navjeevan School and gave gifts to the students.

Navjeevan School students were taken to Anjali Talkies to watch the movie "Sitare Zameen Par." Mrs. Rachana Pahade not only sponsored the film but also provided snacks for all the children. A big thank you!

A three-day conference on "Vocational and Skill Training for Persons with Disabilities" was held at Navjeevan. Organized by the Rehabilitation Council of India and Navjeevan Society, 120 teachers from across Maharashtra and India participated. Coordinated by Abhijit Joshi, with guidance from Chairperson Sharmila Gandhi.

A medical checkup camp was organised for all students by the Lions Angels group. Dr. Meeta Chitnis and Dr. Shubha Jhavar supervised the checkup. A thoughtful initiative ensuring the health and well-being of our students.

Navjeevan Society pays a heartfelt tribute to its founder, Late Smt. Nalinitai Shah. Her vision, sacrifice and tireless dedication laid the foundation of this institution. Her legacy continues to inspire all those who serve at Navjeevan.

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Navjeevan Society organised a Yoga session for its students, teachers and staff. Yoga plays an important role in the holistic development of children with intellectual disabilities.

Navjeevan Society conducted a Continuous Rehabilitation Education (C.R.E.) programme, an RCI-recognised course for special teachers. These programmes strengthen manpower development in the field of intellectual disability across the region.

The School and Vocational Training Centre reopened with great enthusiasm. The teachers and staff welcomed the very happy students with drums and a small gift for everyone — a joyful new beginning.
