The Navjeevan Vocational Training Center (VTC) was started in 1994 to give adults enough work experience before job placement outside. In June 2023, the Sheltered Workshop was inaugurated — giving trainees a permanent, structured workplace.
Adults who complete school-level training are transferred to the VTC at age 18. Here they acquire practical skills across multiple units — tailoring, paper-making, candle-making, home science and handicrafts.
Products made at the workshop are sold to the public — every purchase directly supports our trainees' livelihood. Visit our Shop →
Each unit trains adults in a specific skill, giving them structured, meaningful daily work.
